My name is Sophie Gala, and I'm a former National History Day participant from Philadelphia. This website serves as a central location for the resources I have created for NHD in Pennsylvania and NHD Philly. I encourage anyone to freely use and share these projects, and I hope that they are helpful for teachers and students.

Student projects are viewable within the project databases and as part of the design of this site as a result of a waiver signed by each participating student before submission to contests, which allows their projects to be shared for educational purposes by National History Day and affiliates. They have been made accessible through NHD in PA and NHD Philly, respectively. Thank you to Sergeant Smith, who captured exhibit photos at the state contest.
